Life is grand: Web-developer job

  • Shog9 · 2 years ago
So... Feedhenry is a feedreader then. i was so hoping you were creating a self-aware AI that learned from blogs and programmed to take down Scoble.

Anywho... does the gig pay in Guinness? :-D
  • Paul Watson · 2 years ago
The feed reader is just one aspect of the project. We have much bigger plans than that.

As for AI, bah, hamsters do a better job. We'd rather use mobs :)

And sure, we can work out a Guinness payment scheme. The essence for Guinness is made here in Waterford, down by the river Suir.

Oh, and Scoble took himself down :)

Good luck filling the position, sorry, in the states though...

Does the web developer need to know some server side scripting on the likes of php or asp.net ? If so I might know someone who may want to relocate to Ireland.
  • Paul Watson · 2 years ago
They don't need to know server-side but it will be even better if they did. We use Rails and Java at the moment but PHP or ASP.NET knowledge will still be fine as it can be transfered.
