I haven't been to Waterford cinema in a long, long time. Dungarvan is the only place I'll go, but like you say, 45mins means it has to be a film I *really* want to see.

Cayman only has one cinema, with two screens. Its well dodgy and reminds me of Paarl. They have an intermission in every movie! But if you want to watch a movie, you go.

I was told that the cinema in Waterford was closed down for a while last year when someone was bitten by a rat. On the plus side seemingly planning permission has been granted for two new cimenas in Waterford - one behind the Uluru and one somewhere in town. Don't know when/if they plan to build them though, I saw a flier for "Waterford Film For All today" - http://www.waterfordfilmforall.com/season.html. Not quite the Oscars list but probably quite worthy at any rate.
