Touring Ireland

Near the end of May a German friend and I will be touring around Ireland. I will only have 7 days free which isn’t enough time to see all of Ireland. Here is my list of places to see though (We won’t include the north of Ireland in this trip.)

    We aren't going further North than Dublin. So co. Mayo is out. Draw a line from Galway across to Dublin. Everything underneath that is OK.

    Blarney Castle is cool - a definate must - quite enjoyed it when i was in Eire. The blarney Stone is right on the top of the castle and you have to lean over the edge of one of the holes (I can't remember the technical term) to do it. Disgusting tradition really.

    Especially when the local Irish tell me drunk students from the area
    love to climb up there to piss on the stone and then have a laugh when
    tourists kiss it...
