Soccer

I know this won’t happen but I do wish the world would call it soccer. Back home in South Africa we call it soccer, not football. The USA does it, Australia do too and so does much of Ireland.     In American 'Football', the foot is the part of the body that connects with the ball least often it would seem. I don't see why we need a name change that differentiates between football and a game which was based on rugby which in turn was a derivative of football.

    The alternative would be to get the States to rename American Football (not bloody likely.) I won't even suggest you try and tell the Irish to rename Gaelic Football...
