Thanks Gary but in their FAQ they explicitly say that ringing the bank and asking for the code is not allowed. Apparently banks are not allowed to give out credit card statement details over the phone.

Maybe Irish banks are relaxed on this though, I will give it a try.

It might be a little quicker if you ring the bank in question with a query on the last transaction on your card. I do this often with Irish banks and it is pretty up to date with transactions pending on my card.

Sounds like a bit of a pain Paul. I'm really shocked that their using PayPal given the size of Yahoo. You would think they could shell out for a third part gateway.

I'll be keeping an eye out for the pics when you do put them up.
